About Us

Long story short

Torble Photo began way back in 2013/2014 (the details are fuzzy) as Richard Torble Photography, owned and run entirely by our now Managing Director of the same name. It’s mission was to significantly improve the quality of business photography in Kent. It succeeded.

As the business grew it became too much for one mere man to take on. In 2017, Richard started to build a cherry picked team of photographers, stylists, assistants and retouchers to serve both existing and new clients.

At the beginning of 2018, the business rebranded to better reflect the new structure and Torble Photo was born. Our mission stays the same with one key difference. We are now much better equipped to cover the entirety of the UK (and even beyond). It’s a very exciting time for us, we hope you decide to join us on our journey.

Our Team

They are the cogs in the machine, the oil in our engine. Depending on the specifics of the job, we often pull in other specialists from our network but these guys are our lead team.

Richard Torble
Managing Director

Richard is responsible for giving birth to Torble Photo, it is his baby. He is your point of contact both before and after your session.

Richard also runs and owns web and marketing agency Torble Design.

Rich Broome
Lead Photographer

Rumour has it that his photographic ability exists within his beard. Big beard. Big ability.

He has an uncanny ability to make everyone look amazing, often without them even noticing.

Kristina Kelly
Lead Stylist

Kristina is the queen of detail. She has a 100% success rate with crooked ties, flyaway hairs and jackets that don’t sit right on shoulders.

An extremely valued member of our team which she may or may not be happy to remind us.

Suzi Ovens
Lead Retoucher

If we made cakes and not photographs, Suzi would be responsible for putting the cherry on the icing on the cake.

Each and every photograph undergoes a bespoke process to make sure every staff member looks just like themselves, on a very good day and Suzi makes it happen.
